Slotting applications for next theatre season open

Feb. 28 — Hampshire College Theatre is accepting pitches for shows and workshops to receive a “slot” in next year’s season. Four slots are available, two per semester.

Students are invited to pitch a show to produce, which, if slotted, will receive the largest budgets, most faculty support, and priority use of Hampshire’s theatre spaces.

Applications are reviewed by this year’s slotting committee, composed of Professor Jonathan Dent as faculty representative, Theatre Program Manager Callum Doerner as staff representative, and student representatives Malfoy Kimmel, F22; Karim Barrett, F23; Isaiah Woods, F21; Pierce Docherty, F21; and Zephyr Keteyian, F21.
Applicants are required to attend one of two remaining slotting workshops: Friday, March 7th at 12pm; or Wednesday, March 12 at 4:30pm in the EDH Lobby.

Applications are due March 14 and should be emailed to [email protected].
The application form is available here.
Questions and concerns should also be directed to [email protected].
