Per the latest data from the CDC at the time of publishing, the Wastewater Viral Activity Level in Massachusetts is Very High but trending down after a recent spike. According to the CDC’s predictive model, cases are declining in Massachusetts.

The currently dominant variant is the Omicron-descended KP3.1.1 at 58.7%, an increase from 32% two weeks ago.

Pfizer, Moderna, and Novavax vaccines remain available in pharmacies nationwide, including the CVS on North Pleasant St, accessible via the PVTA38. Recently updated vaccines are likely to be effective due to the overwhelming prevalence of variants descended from JN.1 and KP.2

Free COVID antigen tests are now available to order from the federal government at COVIDTests.gov. Each student is eligible to receive 4 tests.
