Oct. 4 — The Department of Financial Aid maintains an estimated cost of attendance at Hampshire College, beyond merely the costs the college bills directly to students. This includes expenses like books, household supplies, food, transportation, and rent if students live off-campus.
Financial Aid uses these numbers to inform potential of what they can expect to spend as they attend Hampshire, as well as inform decisions regarding eligibility for financial aid.
To update these numbers for the 2025-2026 academic year, Financial Aid is requesting information from students on their regular expenses via a survey.
